In the 13th minute, Günther Doty left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chinese CJ Youth Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. David Abad made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Pietro Salles sent off a good shot on target. 26 minutes into the match, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goalkeeper David Abad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pietro Salles. Nicasio Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Günther Doty, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Long Xiang Yuan in the 32nd minute of play. David Abad made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Pietro Salles sent off a good shot on target. Luan Pombo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute Pietro Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ booed when Chinese CJ Youth Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Long Xiang Yuan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the game Sergio Saturno came into a good position and shot a long shot on goal. In spite of David Abad trying to reach the ball it went through just inside the left pole. 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Günther Doty stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goal looked a bit too open when Luan Pombo came free, but Nicasio Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 53 played minutes Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ got a freekick which was hit by Alonzo Gomesano. In the 56th minute Chinese CJ Youth Academy were awarded a corner. Luan Pombo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Luan Pombo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad did a great save. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s William Lebigot was substituted for Sergio Saturno. In the 59th minute, Blas Frances hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute Kjell Mattsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Günther Doty in the 62nd minute of play forced Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goalkeeper Nicasio Abad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Blomkvist came free, but David Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Abad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peter Blomkvist went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad got control of the ball when Günther Doty tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥! When the match had been going on for 81 minutes, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Luan Pombo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Nicasio Abad. In the 91st minute Peter Blomkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Günther Doty could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Nicasio Abad made a huge save. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
