The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute of the game Byrne Hopkins made a throw-in which Seb Gentiletti played forward. Toro Martínez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Isaac Incendio got a free kick in the 15th minute. A collision led to C.U.E. DE COMERCIO getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Byrne Hopkins hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, Toro Martínez notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Alfredinho Gerber. Alfredinho Gerber was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The throw-in from Justino Elequemedo in the 25th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Seb Gentiletti. Fernando Selatse didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sergio Mustafa went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. A sloppy throw-in by Byrne Hopkins in the 37th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Despidida AFC's Cain Velasquez. Fernando Selatse came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Sergio Mustafa. But to his dismay, Sergio Mustafa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Sergio Mustafa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Selatse having to interfere. The supporters of C.U.E. DE COMERCIO booed when Despidida AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Lucila didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half C.U.E. DE COMERCIO were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Toro Martínez was the one to do the kick off. Fernando Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Mustafa in the 53rd minute of play. Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Despidida AFC from getting a goal against them. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Salvador Romano was substituted for Sergio Mustafa. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Francisco Taveira was substituted for Xian J.J.. Despidida AFC's Emiliano Velasco was substituted for Toro Martínez. Feliksas Fenichev made in the 68th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Dinu Ivănescu however managed to control. In the 69th minute Salvador Romano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredinho Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinu Ivănescu in the 72nd minute of play. If Dinu Ivănescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinu Ivănescu in the 78th minute of play forced C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's goalkeeper Alfredinho Gerber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feliksas Fenichev made in the 82nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Isaac Incendio. Alfredinho Gerber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinu Ivănescu in the 84th minute of the match. Alfredinho Gerber came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Despidida AFC's Dinu Ivănescu. But to his dismay, Dinu Ivănescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. 90 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodoro Nikola. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Alfredinho Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinu Ivănescu in the 94th minute of play. A collision led to C.U.E. DE COMERCIO getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Isaac Incendio hit a great ball. The C.U.E. DE COMERCIO players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
