The Ryszard Rekowski was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Daniel Wnukowski scored 1-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Trần Khoi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 27th minute Nguyễn Liem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryszard Rekowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tadeusz Kasperowicz charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
