The referee ignored PSM Cigun's protests and gave Rexy Kooth a yellow card for diving instead. 3-0 came in the 34th minute when Wellington Ferraz all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Cecep Romatua. Darius Tarigan hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After 45 played minutes Laguna Sunrise FC got a freekick which was hit by Christiano Correia.
Cecep Romatua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César Alves, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. After a rather tough play, PSM Cigun's Zulfikar Mainaky got a free kick in the 51st minute. Darius Tarigan's late challenge caught a Laguna Sunrise FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Darius Tarigan helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Laguna Sunrise FC booed when PSM Cigun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position.
