In the 4th minute of the match, Porman Sitepu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Emílio Peres saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by Laguna Sunrise FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gendo Sinulingga was slow to take the kick. During this time Longkewang's players had a chance to rest. 7 minutes into the game, Paulinho Hoffmann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Boy Sitepu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Andrade in the 12th minute of play forced Longkewang's goalkeeper Boy Sitepu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boy Sitepu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulinho Hoffmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Paulinho Hoffmann notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Longkewang's Boy Sitepu. Boy Sitepu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulinho Hoffmann in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boy Sitepu saved Longkewang from getting behind. After 22nd play minutes Juan Andrade shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Boy Sitepu and just under the crossbar into goal. Jojo Panjaitan kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Emílio Peres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Porman Sitepu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diguinho Abreu got a throw-in 33 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Otávio Pitta. After a defensive mix-up in Laguna Sunrise FC's zone, Porman Sitepu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emílio Peres came out of the goal and Porman Sitepu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Juan Andrade's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Boy Sitepu was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. In the 38th match minute, Longkewang was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rochy Ramadhonna to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 40 minutes, Juan Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laguna Sunrise FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rochy Ramadhonna during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Longkewang! The referee gave Laguna Sunrise FC a penalty, 43 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Wellington Ferraz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Longkewang's Boy Sitepu. 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulinho Hoffmann made a kick off. Laguna Sunrise FC's Emílio Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Porman Sitepu in the 54th minute of play. Emílio Peres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Porman Sitepu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute, Arnaldo Marquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes in the game Otávio Pitta did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Arnaldo Marquez. In the 65th minute of the game Otávio Pitta made a throw-in which Paulinho Hoffmann played forward. Porman Sitepu struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Emílio Peres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Longkewang. Juan Andrade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Boy Sitepu made a huge save. 77 minutes into the match, Paulinho Hoffmann dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Boy Sitepu, 0-5. In the 86th minute Eboy Barus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emílio Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 87 minutes, Ruslan Sugendo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Longkewang's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruslan Sugendo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulinho Hoffmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Boy Sitepu made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Laguna Sunrise FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
