Femi Piliang got a throw-in 4 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Micky Wijaya. Djati Muchtaji showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phan Hoa in the 6th minute of the match. Andra Budikusuma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 9 minutes, Phạm Thi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bạc Li's supporters crossed their fingers, but Phạm Thi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th match minute, Bạc Li was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ngô Hong to maneuver through the defense. Micky Wijaya blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tạ Duc having to make a save. 15 minutes into the match, Bạc Li's goal looked a bit too open when Ari Wijaya came free, but Tạ Duc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bùi Tuan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Djati Muchtaji having to interfere. Tjompreng FC's Djati Muchtaji played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Phan Hoa in the 17th minute of play. Djati Muchtaji made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Ngô Hong sent off a good shot on target. In the 22nd minute Henry Oktavianus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tạ Duc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tjompreng FC's Ari Wijaya got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henry Oktavianus in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tạ Duc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tạ Duc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andra Budikusuma in the 35th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Steve Sitorus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tjompreng FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Steve Sitorus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tạ Duc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tạ Duc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andra Budikusuma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ngô Hong kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Phan Hoa made the kick off in the second half. Henry Oktavianus kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Femi Piliang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nguyễn Lien, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ari Wijaya struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Tạ Duc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tjompreng FC. Bạc Li's Tạ Duc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Bạc Li from getting a goal against them. Tjompreng FC's Djati Muchtaji played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Phan Hoa in the 60th minute of play. In the 62ndth minute of the game Steve Sitorus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bạc Li's Tạ Duc was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 63rd minute of the match Tjompreng FC got a corner. Bạc Li's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andra Budikusuma ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Andra Budikusuma got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tạ Duc quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Steve Sitorus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Tạ Duc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute Steve Sitorus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tạ Duc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Djati Muchtaji showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Phạm Thi, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. If Ngô Hong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henry Oktavianus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 95th minute, Steve Sitorus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Tjompreng FC's Andra Budikusuma slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tạ Duc. That made the score 0-2 after 97 minutes of play.
