Gaetan Slaghmeulders succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 27th playminute. Aristides Urtsin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Cosme Fernendo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Tiburones Rojos booed when River was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Gau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cosme Fernendo made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Savić Miljuš sent off a good shot on target. Tiburones Rojos's Aristides Urtsin got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tiburones Rojos's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
