A hard and well directed shot from Aurelio Vinciguerra led 9 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Argentinos del Norte's Primeiro Leto became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Argentinos del Norte's goal looked a bit too open when Biagio Scoca came free, but Primeiro Leto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Argentinos del Norte's Ladislao Birila got a free kick in the 13th minute. After taking down the ball on Argentinos del Norte's corner Gaspar Laurendi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alvaro Pardini quite easily take care of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gualterio Ponc during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ladislao Birilas short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Alvaro Pardini to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ladislao Birila who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Alvaro Pardini when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 29th minute, Ladislao Birila left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Argentinos del Norte fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 33 minutes into the match, Argentinos del Norte's Ladislao Birila sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alvaro Pardini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Biagio Scoca to make the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Domenico Gentili who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Foot Ball Club di Roma's Alvaro Pardini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 57 played minutes Foot Ball Club di Roma got a freekick which was hit by Fedele Cimino. In the 62nd match minute, Foot Ball Club di Roma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fedele Cimino to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, Fedele Cimino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Primeiro Leto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Ceresoli in the 67th minute of play. Argentinos del Norte's Domenico Gentili got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Foot Ball Club di Roma made a substitution. Bruno Nazzaro replaced Armando Ceresoli. Foot Ball Club di Roma's Ettore Scarcella was substituted for Fedele Cimino. With a little luck, Argentinos del Norte's Primeiro Leto got control of the ball when Niccolo Zaniolo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Foot Ball Club di Roma's Alvaro Pardini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Hanni in the 77th minute of play. With his leg Primeiro Leto managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Foot Ball Club di Roma's Biagio Scoca fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Argentinos del Norte's Primeiro Leto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niccolo Zaniolo in the 80th minute of play. Alvaro Pardini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domenico Gentili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Argentinos del Norte booed when Foot Ball Club di Roma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ettore Scarcella didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno Nazzaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primeiro Leto having to interfere. Hector Hanni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Biagio Scoca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Primeiro Leto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Niccolo Zaniolo kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Foot Ball Club di Roma left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Argentinos del Norte.
