Dumitru Purcărete's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aris Giannopoulos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. The supporters of A4p FC Gad booed when FK TEPLICE STARS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeáš Bojanovský didn't get a good kick on the ball. FK TEPLICE STARS's Aris Giannopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by James Batistuta in the 36th minute of play. Aris Giannopoulos made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when James Batistuta sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Aris Giannopoulos managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when A4p FC Gad's James Batistuta fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 69th play minute James Batistuta came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aris Giannopoulos. 0-3. In the 78th minute of the match A4p FC Gad got a corner. FK TEPLICE STARS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcin Pachucki ran over to the corner to take the kick. Glenn Fyfe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wladyslaw Miarka in the 80th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, FK TEPLICE STARS's goalkeeper Aris Giannopoulos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gică Busuioc.
