The Foot Ball Club di Roma players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zamalek FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tytus Banaszak to make the kick off. Zamalek FC's Rhys Dimmock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Biagio Scoca in the 51st minute of play.
