Ioan Voicu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sid Wilson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Temperley's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Entrena came free, but Ioan Voicu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ioan Voicu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andy Entrena, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. A collision led to Cuatrodeocho getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. José Planes hit a great ball. After 15 played minutes, Club Atlético Temperley's Joel Pitin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fulgencio Villalcazar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Atlético Temperley reached it. 22 minutes into the match, Cuatrodeocho's goalkeeper Fulgencio Villalcazar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaston Laurendi. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Temperley's goalkeeper Ioan Voicu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ioan Voicu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Batuhin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Belarmino Campos kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Cristiano Correia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fulgencio Villalcazar was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rolando Lopez got free with Fulgencio Villalcazar in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fulgencio Villalcazar came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Temperley's Gaston Laurendi. But to his dismay, Gaston Laurendi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rolando Lopez got free with Fulgencio Villalcazar in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and David Batuhin made a kick off. Club Atlético Temperley were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Cuatrodeocho's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Pitin took the corner. Club Atlético Temperley's Joel Pitin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fulgencio Villalcazar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. David Batuhin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 68th minute Joel Pitin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Villalcazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Batuhin might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ioan Voicu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. David Batuhin ran back to his position shaking his head. Ioan Voicu made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Batuhin in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Batuhin in the 79th minute of play forced Club Atlético Temperley's goalkeeper Ioan Voicu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fulgencio Villalcazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Correia in the 81st minute of play. Cuatrodeocho were furious when Gábor Gyepes was red carded, 82 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Cuatrodeocho's Iván Villafane was substituted for David Batuhin. In the 81st minute, one of Cuatrodeocho:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cuatrodeocho. After 85 minutes Cuatrodeocho's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Pitin who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Rolando Lopez heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Cuatrodeocho's Fulgencio Villalcazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Correia in the 89th minute of play. Iván Villafane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Correia in the 94th minute of play forced Cuatrodeocho's goalkeeper Fulgencio Villalcazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Atlético Temperley were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cuatrodeocho for a fine match.
