Germano Rebelo might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cosme Fernendo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Germano Rebelo ran back to his position shaking his head. JURIDIQUES F.C's Dráuzio Abraão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaetan Slaghmeulders in the 6th minute of play. In the last second Dráuzio Abraão throw himself and got hold of the ball when Gaetan Slaghmeulders in the 6thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 8 minutes, Germano Rebelo made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. River's Cosme Fernendo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Erik Lund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dráuzio Abraão having to interfere. 14 minutes into the game, Ernesto Henrico was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. River's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JURIDIQUES F.C the free kick. In the 14th match minute, River was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Henrico to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute of the match JURIDIQUES F.C got a corner. River's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Thomás Vianna ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of JURIDIQUES F.C booed when River was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Txema didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thomás Vianna took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cosme Fernendo. River's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to JURIDIQUES F.C getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Lionel Pelé hit a great ball. Adolfo Obeko didn't quite understand what happened when in the 22 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Germano Rebelo took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cosme Fernendo. Cosme Fernendo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Cosme Fernendo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Germano Rebelo in the 37th minute of the match. Dráuzio Abraão made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Erik Lund sent off a good shot on target. Cosme Fernendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germano Rebelo in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Erik Lund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The River fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. JURIDIQUES F.C's Germano Rebelo got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half JURIDIQUES F.C were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 58th minute, Wilfried Van Cauwenberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Erik Lund came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the River fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Lund couldn't finish the play. When Aurelio Txema fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored River's protests and gave Aurelio Txema a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to River getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Aurelio Txema hit a great ball. JURIDIQUES F.C's Germano Rebelo pulled a muscle in his back after 71 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 71 minutes of play River's Ernesto Henrico was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 73rd match minute, River was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Henrico to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the match, JURIDIQUES F.C's Thomás Vianna broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 81 played minutes River got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Mitxaut. Wilfried Van Cauwenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Dráuzio Abraão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dráuzio Abraão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaetan Slaghmeulders in the 91st minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched JURIDIQUES F.C eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
