Cosme Fernendo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Cosme Fernendo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ryszard Percha's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fedele Mussi in the 44th minute of play forced River's goalkeeper Cosme Fernendo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cosme Fernendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryszard Percha in the 47th minute of play. The River players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ryszard Percha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Silvestre Laurgain hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Cosme Fernendo came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Chivos de Punto Fijo's Juan Torrent. But to his dismay, Juan Torrent quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. In the 79th minute Nereo Argina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dani Hernández saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to River getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Aurelio Txema hit a great ball. Cosme Fernendo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Juan Torrent showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 83 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Chivos de Punto Fijo's Juan Torrent slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cosme Fernendo. That made the score 0-10 after 92 minutes of play. Chivos de Punto Fijo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
