Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carlos Sainz started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Inácio Pinheiro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Inácio Pinheiro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of E.C 2 Janeiro RS protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Inácio Pinheiro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in E.C 2 Janeiro RS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 2nd minute. Penalty! Humberto Paes charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Humberto Paes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th match minute, E.C 2 Janeiro RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Paes to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute Carlos Sainz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlinhos da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Sainz in the 14th minute of play forced E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goalkeeper Carlinhos da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casey Orchard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Paes in the 15th minute of play. Mateus Zanette was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. With a little luck, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Carlinhos da Costa got control of the ball when Adam Longley tried to sneak it across the goal line. U21 Andorra were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after E.C 2 Janeiro RS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Russ Griggs took the corner. Russ Griggs made a great header on U21 Andorra's corner, it was just that E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Carlinhos da Costa managed to reach the ball for a save. U21 Andorra's Carlos Sainz got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Greenwood came free, but Carlinhos da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Válter de Sousa charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Válter de Sousa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th minute, Válter de Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute Carlos Sainz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlinhos da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd match minute, E.C 2 Janeiro RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Sanches to maneuver through the defense. U21 Andorra were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after E.C 2 Janeiro RS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Russ Griggs took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Scott Bradbury managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Carlinhos da Costa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Carlos Sainz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 41 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Humberto Paes to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Válter de Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlinhos da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Sainz in the 56th minute of play. In the 57thth minute of the game Russ Griggs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Carlinhos da Costa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 58th match minute, E.C 2 Janeiro RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dário Gomes to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute, Carlos Sainz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Sainz might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlinhos da Costa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Sainz ran back to his position shaking his head. Carlinhos da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Sainz in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Sainz came free, but Carlinhos da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Carlos Sainz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U21 Andorra fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Carlinhos da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Sainz in the 70th minute of play. Darius Church struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Carlinhos da Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U21 Andorra. After a defensive mix-up in E.C 2 Janeiro RS's zone, Carlos Sainz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlinhos da Costa came out of the goal and Carlos Sainz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 76 minutes, Mateus Zanette mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the E.C 2 Janeiro RS and the U21 Andorra players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 76 played minutes E.C 2 Janeiro RS got a freekick which was hit by Mateus Zanette. 77 minutes into the game, Carlos Sainz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Carlinhos da Costa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 80thth minute of the game Scott Bradbury who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Carlinhos da Costa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 82nd minute, Eddy Lydiate got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlinhos da Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Sainz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, Carlos Sainz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlinhos da Costa was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. Carlinhos da Costa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Sainz went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. If Carlos Sainz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Scott Bradbury left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U21 Andorra fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. 97 minutes into the match, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Sainz came free, but Carlinhos da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. U21 Andorra had played much better football throughout.
