After 4 minutes of play, ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ's Eusebio Sagrario made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benjamin Price was left in no man's land by his defense there! With an all-out effort, ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ's Benjamin Price threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eusebio Sagrario, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After taking down the ball on ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ's corner Antonio Artaldo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Benjamin Price quite easily take care of the ball. Characate FC's Benjamin Price played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Gabino in the 17th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eusebio Sagrario in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamin Price saved Characate FC from getting behind. Benjamin Price showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Pinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Benjamin Price stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eusebio Sagrario's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Marcial Pinto hit a great ball. The supporters of Characate FC booed when ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinho Corrêa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Characate FC's Primitivo Brun tried to score from far away in the 94th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.
Characate FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ had won, even though Characate FC had held more of the ball.
