Currito Torrente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Tarragona 2006. Balázs Kulcsár received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Domingo Colsa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th match minute, FC Tarragona 2006 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Mosquera to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the game, FC Tarragona 2006's Fernando Morientes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Currito Torrente made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Domingo Colsa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balázs Kulcsár in the 26th minute of play. Ludomil Galagan charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ludomil Galagan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Tullidos FC's Ludomil Galagan got a free kick in the 31st minute. FC Tarragona 2006's Domingo Colsa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Ocaña in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Balázs Kulcsár ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Domingo Colsa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Tullidos FC's Balázs Kulcsár in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Tarragona 2006's goalie prevented a goal. Cristian Mosquera kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Balázs Kulcsár was the one to do the kick off. Ansu Fatić blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Currito Torrente having to make a save. After having played for 62 minutes, Balázs Kulcsár managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tullidos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Balázs Kulcsár was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute, Ansu Fatić left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Tarragona 2006 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Tullidos FC made a substitution. Celestino Mannie replaced Balázs Kulcsár. Currito Torrente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ansu Fatić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Ansu Fatić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Tullidos FC's Celestino Mannie in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Etxepare Lermo might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Domingo Colsa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Etxepare Lermo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 95th minute of the match, Etxepare Lermo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Domingo Colsa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.

For all the effort they put into the match, the Tullidos FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Tarragona 2006.
