Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to FC Žalia Giria getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Vytautas Petkus hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the match, FC Žalia Giria's goalkeeper Adolfo Carrizo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aykut Canel. Onur Ali Semi kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Oğuzalp Yetiş kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aykut Canel to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saúl Gentiletti in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Batıkan Muhsin saved Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC from getting behind. Adolfo Carrizo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aykut Canel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th match minute, FC Žalia Giria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hikmet Lebib to maneuver through the defense. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC made a substitution. Lorenzo James replaced Kurtuluş Senih. 80 minutes into the match, FC Žalia Giria's goal looked a bit too open when Aykut Canel came free, but Adolfo Carrizo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 95 minutes, Saúl Gentiletti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Žalia Giria and the Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th minute, Saúl Gentiletti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC fully deserved thier win.
