In the 7thth minute of the game Fernando Aguiar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vught United's Rolf van den Eede was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Vught United booed when Ibipetuba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelson Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Douglas de Brito from long distance, 11 minutes into the match, got Rolf van den Eede's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A nice corner shot did that Jeffrey de Boer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Giovanni Severo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Douwe Meijer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovanni Severo having to interfere. Iuri Cerezo scored 1-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolf van den Eede, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 27 minutes into the match, Ibipetuba's Iuri Cerezo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolf van den Eede narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 34 minutes, Iuri Cerezo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ibipetuba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iuri Cerezo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Vught United getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Casper Enström hit a great ball. Vught United's Rolf van den Eede proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Vught United from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeffrey de Boer made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Ibipetuba's goalkeeper Giovanni Severo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeffrey de Boer. Iuri Cerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Rolf van den Eede tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Jeffrey de Boer got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Giovanni Severo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douwe Meijer in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute of the match Natanael Alcântara shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rolf van den Eede showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Giovanni Severo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douwe Meijer, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 66th match minute, Ibipetuba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felippe Ceresso to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the match, Jeffrey de Boer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giovanni Severo. Ibipetuba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeffrey de Boer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Jeffrey de Boer succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 70th playminute. Rolf van den Eede showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iuri Cerezo in the 78th minute of the match. Ibipetuba's Giovanni Severo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeffrey de Boer in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Aguiar in the 92nd minute of play forced Vught United's goalkeeper Rolf van den Eede to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
