After a rather tough play, MKS MŁAWA's Hugon Sokol got a free kick in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Marco Zust cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Lucjan Sidorowicz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Xusto Arostegui's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Łukasz Fabiański read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, MKS MŁAWA's goal looked a bit too open when Sánchez Castruita came free, but Lucjan Sidorowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Łukasz Fabiański stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xusto Arostegui's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. After 30 minutes of play, MKS MŁAWA's Zenon Danisiewicz made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Łukasz Fabiański was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Marco Zust had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38thth minute of the game Karol Turak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Azulgranas's Łukasz Fabiański was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. MKS MŁAWA's Lucjan Sidorowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sánchez Castruita in the 40th minute of play. In the 40th minute, one of MKS MŁAWA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for MKS MŁAWA. The supporters of Azulgranas booed when MKS MŁAWA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xusto Arostegui didn't get a good kick on the ball. The MKS MŁAWA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Azulgranas were winning 2-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zenon Danisiewicz was the one to do the kick off. Lucjan Sidorowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Tarresola in the 53rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Azulgranas defense, Xusto Arostegui kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Łukasz Fabiański. The Azulgranas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Łukasz Fabiański should have stopped the shot. In the 94th minute of the match Karol Turak sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Łukasz Fabiański skillfully saved the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
