After a rather tough play, KiriTattoo Fc's Remigio Ted got a free kick in the 42nd minute. When Jerónimo Alvarenga fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ripon City's protests and gave Jerónimo Alvarenga a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 played minutes Ripon City got a freekick which was hit by Jerónimo Alvarenga. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
