The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Timoteo Tebaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Sauveur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 4 minutes, Pedro Mede mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MILEI.FUTBOL.CLUB and the Tala AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Astor Tonio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Angelino Frances showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, MILEI.FUTBOL.CLUB's Timoteo Tebaldo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Sauveur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Augusto Marino's late challenge caught a MILEI.FUTBOL.CLUB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Augusto Marino helped the player get up and apologised. Augusto Marino hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Pedro Mede kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind MILEI.FUTBOL.CLUB's goalkeeper Astor Tonio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. MILEI.FUTBOL.CLUB's Astor Tonio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Frances in the 22nd minute of play. With his leg Astor Tonio managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Tala AFC's Angelino Frances fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Angelino Frances could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Astor Tonio made a huge save. Angelino Frances sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Timoteo Tebaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilfredo Gabino was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 46 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in MILEI.FUTBOL.CLUB fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! Astor Tonio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Angelino Frances showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 48 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Jonathan Sauveur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Rico in the 54th minute of play. Venancio Vistruario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Sauveur having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Vistruario in the 59th minute of play forced Tala AFC's goalkeeper Jonathan Sauveur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Venancio Vistruario took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Jonathan Sauveur to make any attempt to save it. Astor Tonio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Paublo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelino Frances sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonathan Sauveur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venancio Vistruario in the 69th minute of the match. Astor Tonio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Frances, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Tala AFC were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after MILEI.FUTBOL.CLUB's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Angelino Frances took the corner. The corner led Tala AFC's Angelino Frances to fire away a dangerous shot which Astor Tonio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Fausto Paublo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Angelino Frances had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tala AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MILEI.FUTBOL.CLUB the free kick. Jonathan Sauveur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Vistruario in the 95th minute of play. Venancio Vistruario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Sauveur having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tala AFC had played much better football throughout.
