Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bernardo Brodel got the match started through his kick off. Hélder Santiago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 2nd minute of the match, but Zé Roberto Carioca made a huge save. In the 4th match minute, Orós FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulisses Hermes to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Orós FC's Edmílson Meireles got a free kick in the 6th minute. Orós FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Mariano Franco scored to the left of an out of position Zé Roberto Carioca, making the score, 1-0. Ronaldo Bulhosa came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Orós FC's Bernardo Brodel. But to his dismay, Bernardo Brodel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 15 minutes into the match, Hélder Santiago had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zé Roberto Carioca. Orós FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hélder Santiago was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Ripon City's Ronaldo Bulhosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Carlos Teles in the 21st minute of play. João Valverde charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Valverde the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ronaldo Bulhosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dadá Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Brodel in the 39th minute of play forced Ripon City's goalkeeper Ronaldo Bulhosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardo Brodel in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronaldo Bulhosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 41 minutes into the match, Bernardo Brodel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronaldo Bulhosa. Ripon City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernardo Brodel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 51st minute Hélder Santiago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Roberto Carioca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronaldo Bulhosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Carlos Teles in the 57th minute. Jacinto Fonseca charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacinto Fonseca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ripon City getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 61 minutes into the match, Ripon City's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Brodel came free, but Ronaldo Bulhosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albertino Ventura hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Hélder Santiago's late challenge caught a Orós FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hélder Santiago helped the player get up and apologised. Hélder Santiago hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Adelino Brodel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ronaldo Bulhosa. Ripon City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Ripon City's goal looked a bit too open when Arlindo Abraão came free, but Ronaldo Bulhosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Orós FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. In the 78th minute, João Valverde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Orós FC booed when Ripon City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Ulisses Hermes in the 94th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Ripon City's Albertino Ventura. Orós FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
