In the 15th minute, İzzet Akyel had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Kubat Taçyıldız fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caglayan SK's protests and gave Kubat Taçyıldız a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Karayazi FK booed when Caglayan SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kubat Taçyıldız didn't get a good kick on the ball. Azim Boranalp struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Selahaddin Akdiken didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karayazi FK. Azim Boranalp who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Selahaddin Akdiken when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Azim Boranalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karayazi FK's Haluk Piruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Harun Akabe in the 27th minute of play. Uğur Hikmettin kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. A collision led to Caglayan SK getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Şahin Ergunalp hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Baran Demirci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Selahaddin Akdiken having to interfere. Ahmet Harun Akabe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Caglayan SK's zone, Azim Boranalp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Selahaddin Akdiken came out of the goal and Azim Boranalp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vecdi Kutlay hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Orhun Tengizalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Caglayan SK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
