Fălciu's supporters rose to their feet, but Adam Babarada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Piara Tittarelli had in the 66thth minute some difficulties stopping Maxim Zbârnea's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 69th minute of the match Fălciu got a corner. Reconquistense FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The Fălciu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filip Ivănescu should have stopped the shot. Piara Tittarelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Babarada, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Reconquistense FC's Arnulfo Gamus got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reconquistense FC's Baltasar Beltza quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Costin Tofan, made in the 96th minute of the game. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
