The CA Quake fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silverio Cordearo should have stopped the shot. Xavies Berrez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Inko in the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Aznaro in the 39th minute of play forced Universitario's goalkeeper Xavies Berrez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Papi Saron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Silverio Cordearo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benicio Balasi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Xavies Berrez made a huge save. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mon Postigo made a kick off. In the 50th match minute, CA Quake was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Sadurni to maneuver through the defense. Universitario's Xavies Berrez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Larra in the 56th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. CA Quake had won after a very even match.
