An unexpectedly hard shot by Renato Augusto in the 6th minute of play forced NeW York CitY CopS's goalkeeper Teet Rosin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Teet Rosin threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Renato Augusto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Lei Feng Yan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. NeW York CitY CopS's Teet Rosin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save NeW York CitY CopS from getting a goal against them. Teet Rosin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Augusto in the 15th minute of play. After 17 minutes of play, NeW York CitY CopS's Matias Jon made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Esen Sanal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teet Rosin made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Lei Feng Yan sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matias Jon in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esen Sanal saved S.E.R. Caxias do Sul from getting behind. When NeW York CitY CopS's Matias Jon in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalie prevented a goal. A hard shot 30 in the game by Lei Feng Yan from a close distance when the talented Teet Rosin managed to make a qualified save. NeW York CitY CopS's players were relieved. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalkeeper Esen Sanal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Matias Jon was slow to take the kick. During this time NeW York CitY CopS's players had a chance to rest. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matias Jon in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esen Sanal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th minute NeW York CitY CopS were awarded a corner. Matias Jon went to the cornerflag to take it. NeW York CitY CopS's Freddy Inguma was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Esen Sanal in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Lei Feng Yan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Teet Rosin made a huge save. With a little luck, NeW York CitY CopS's Teet Rosin got control of the ball when Lei Feng Yan tried to sneak it across the goal line. NeW York CitY CopS's Teet Rosin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save NeW York CitY CopS from getting a goal against them. Esen Sanal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Jon in the 48th minute of the match. The S.E.R. Caxias do Sul players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. NeW York CitY CopS were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Renato Augusto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Renato Augusto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NeW York CitY CopS's Teet Rosin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 62nd minute Krisztián Véber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teet Rosin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Despite this Esen Sanal quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Esen Sanal made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Serafin Mark sent off a good shot on target. Teet Rosin came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Lucio Siekkötter. But to his dismay, Lucio Siekkötter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Teet Rosin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Augusto in the 87th minute of play. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Esen Sanal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save S.E.R. Caxias do Sul from getting a goal against them. Renato Augusto scored 2-3 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teet Rosin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The S.E.R. Caxias do Sul supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching NeW York CitY CopS's performance. The match ended with a win for NeW York CitY CopS.
