Sylwester Wawro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gayle Leto, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Christian Burgo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Burgo in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abdul Majid Awat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Christian Burgo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Burgo in the 23rd minute of play forced Atletic Club Araucaria's goalkeeper Abdul Majid Awat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Gayle Leto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sylwester Wawro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Burgo might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abdul Majid Awat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christian Burgo ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leopoldo Cesaro got free with Sylwester Wawro in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 42 minutes into the match, Guilherme de Souza notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Atletic Club Araucaria's Abdul Majid Awat. Abdul Majid Awat was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Burgo in the 48th minute of play forced Atletic Club Araucaria's goalkeeper Abdul Majid Awat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Atletic Club Araucaria made a substitution. René Orlando replaced Lino Heli. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 高宇川 to make the kick off. Christian Burgo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Abdul Majid Awat came out and tried to block the shot, but Christian Burgo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 56th minute. Sylwester Wawro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from René Orlando in the 62nd minute of the match. Abdul Majid Awat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 高宇川's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Gayle Leto scored 1-4 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sylwester Wawro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Atletic Club Araucaria's Cirilo Raymon was substituted for Gayle Leto. Christian Burgo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kwyjibo's Alfonso Grassi was substituted for Mathias Jakobsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Burgo in the 76th minute of play forced Atletic Club Araucaria's goalkeeper Abdul Majid Awat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atletic Club Araucaria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guilherme de Souza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Atletic Club Araucaria's Isidoro Oxarra was substituted for Leopoldo Cesaro. Sylwester Wawro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Raymon in the 85th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Isidoro Oxarra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodrigo Meléndez kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After having played for 92 minutes, Bahadırhan Yiğithan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kwyjibo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bahadırhan Yiğithan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sylwester Wawro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from René Orlando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atletic Club Araucaria's Abdul Majid Awat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 高宇川 in the 96th minute of play. The Kwyjibo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kwyjibo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
