In the 5th minute Geovanildo Luis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dani Hernández saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Joinville City - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ryszard Percha came free, but Haji Sarap reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Karsten Ulbak in the 11th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Chivos de Punto Fijo's Anders Ståhlman. Haji Sarap took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryszard Percha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Joinville City - FSCMZ's Geovanildo Luis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dani Hernández. That made the score 1-0 after 15 minutes of play. Haji Sarap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryszard Percha in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Geovanildo Luis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dani Hernández, 2-0. 27 minutes in the game Karsten Ulbak did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Geovanildo Luis. 31 minutes in the game Zhao Shu Cheng did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ryszard Percha. Ryszard Percha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Haji Sarap having to make a save. In the 35th minute Ryszard Percha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haji Sarap saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Ryszard Percha made the kick off in the second half. Chivos de Punto Fijo's Narciso Gombal managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tomás Reis in the 52 minute of the game. Haji Sarap took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryszard Percha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardino Llorenc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chivos de Punto Fijo's Filip Bochinski was substituted for Liev Tolstoy. Joinville City - FSCMZ made a substitution. Luo Peng Ao replaced Ronaldinho Gaucho. In the 67th match minute, Joinville City - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luo Peng Ao to maneuver through the defense. The Chivos de Punto Fijo fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Chivos de Punto Fijo's Juan Torrent looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Filip Bochinski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Haji Sarap came out and tried to block the shot, but Filip Bochinski slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 71st minute. Filip Bochinski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Haji Sarap when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Haji Sarap showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Äliqulu Vermäliyev in the 76th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Joinville City - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Haji Sarap had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Torrent. Haji Sarap was a little too slow when Filip Bochinski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 2-4. Dani Hernández made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horácio Abraão in the 85th minute of play. Haji Sarap took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Äliqulu Vermäliyev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adhemar Santos succeeded in the game's 91st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chivos de Punto Fijo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
