Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Vicente Madruga hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute of the match Filinto Ferro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leal Simões showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Portugal's Francisco Taveira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Duarte Duarte. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. Francisco Taveira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Duarte Duarte made a huge save. Duarte Duarte made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Francisco Taveira sent off a good shot on target. 12 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Vegetti came free, but Leal Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Victoriano Milian hit a great ball. Aquiles Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Leal Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Portugal's Leal Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Golo Duarte in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute Francisco Taveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 31 minutes, Francisco Taveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portugal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Taveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Francisco Taveira could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Duarte Duarte however easily saved by the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land made a substitution. Rodolfo Lencastre replaced Pablo Vegetti. Portugal's Leal Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Golo Duarte in the 57th minute of play. Gar Galo struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Leal Simões didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land. Duarte Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paio York in the 64th minute of play. Duarte Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Taveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute Paio York shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruben Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Lencastre in the 70th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Leal Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leal Simões came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Aquiles Duarte. But to his dismay, Aquiles Duarte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Paio York's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Duarte Duarte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Portugal's Paio York sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Duarte Duarte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Duarte Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paio York in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's goalkeeper Duarte Duarte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Duarte Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paio York, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute Portugal were awarded a corner. Filipe Viveiros went to the cornerflag to take it. 85 minutes into the game, Paio York cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Duarte Duarte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 91 minutes into the match, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Golo Duarte sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leal Simões narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Portugal's Leal Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Golo Duarte in the 93rd minute of play. Paio York struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Duarte Duarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portugal. For all the effort they put into the match, the CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Portugal.
