Tomáš Houdek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Battal Gazi Bey in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Lex Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Battal Gazi Bey came free, but Tomáš Houdek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lex Academy's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Amerigo Muzi made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Fausto Castulo sent off a good shot on target. Hortêncio Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomáš Houdek having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Battal Gazi Bey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomáš Houdek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernardo Novaes to make the kick off. Lex Academy's Bernardo Novaes got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lex Academy's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Battal Gazi Bey scored to the left of an out of position Tomáš Houdek, making the score, 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Battal Gazi Bey slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tomáš Houdek. That made the score 0-2 after 66 minutes of play. Lex Academy made a substitution. Leo Štengl replaced Radomir Wyrostek. 71 minutes into the match, Lex Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Hortêncio Rosa came free, but Tomáš Houdek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomáš Houdek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jailson Barral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomáš Houdek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hortêncio Rosa in the 74th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hortêncio Rosa in the 78th minute of play forced Lex Academy's goalkeeper Tomáš Houdek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomáš Houdek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hortêncio Rosa in the 80th minute of the match. Jailson Barral came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tomáš Houdek could save by the left post. After 84 played minutes S O B E R A N O CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Lindø. A collision led to S O B E R A N O CIMZ getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Rodrigo Lindø hit a great ball. The supporters of Lex Academy booed when S O B E R A N O CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Vaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the match, S O B E R A N O CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Jursa came free, but Amerigo Muzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The S O B E R A N O CIMZ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
