Eugen Spanehl took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gení Aguilar. Gení Aguilar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. VfL Tegel's Otto Klemme got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Spanehl in the 31st minute of play forced UD Espinar's goalkeeper Gení Aguilar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gení Aguilar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otto Klemme, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in VfL Tegel's zone, Fagondo Tobias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eberhard Baur came out of the goal and Fagondo Tobias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jan Wohlfart charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jan Wohlfart the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, VfL Tegel's Jan Wohlfart got a free kick in the 42nd minute. VfL Tegel's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mitxel Vacas 44 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. With a little luck, VfL Tegel's Eberhard Baur got control of the ball when Mitxel Vacas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 47 minutes, Fagondo Tobias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Espinar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fagondo Tobias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eugen Spanehl to make the kick off. Eugen Spanehl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for UD Espinar! 60 minutes into the game, Dieter Luft was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VfL Tegel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UD Espinar the free kick. UD Espinar's Gení Aguilar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugen Spanehl in the 63rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ganix Urbina during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. UD Espinar's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Eugen Spanehl scored to the left of an out of position Gení Aguilar, making the score, 2-2. Angelo Radaban kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After having played for 80 minutes, Eugen Spanehl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VfL Tegel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugen Spanehl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. VfL Tegel's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugen Spanehl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gení Aguilar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edwin Weißbach charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edwin Weißbach the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of UD Espinar booed when VfL Tegel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edwin Weißbach didn't get a good kick on the ball.
