In the 10th minute, Sylwester Grunwalski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jan Luijten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cobus Post fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miromir Pietrowski having to interfere. Jan Luijten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Miromir Pietrowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miromir Pietrowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cobus Post's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Miromir Pietrowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 37 minutes into the game, Róża Białystok's Dariusz Pionek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christiaan Kolkman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 43 minutes into the game, Berry Visscher was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Goorle's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Róża Białystok the free kick. After a rather tough play, Goorle's Berry Visscher got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Christiaan Kolkman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Goorle's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
