Ivo Júdice started the match with the kick off. Ivo Júdice fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miromir Pietrowski having to interfere. Hipólito Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Makowski in the 11th minute of the match. With a little luck, Inter Porto's Hipólito Montenegro got control of the ball when Dariusz Pionek tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stefan Makowski struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Hipólito Montenegro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Róża Białystok. An unexpected shot in the 17th minute by Stefan Makowski got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Inter Porto's zone, Tolek Czempa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hipólito Montenegro came out of the goal and Tolek Czempa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dariusz Pionek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hipólito Montenegro having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Frederico Marques ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miromir Pietrowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 27th match minute, Róża Białystok was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sylwester Grunwalski to maneuver through the defense. Miromir Pietrowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederico Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, Frederico Marques had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miromir Pietrowski. Róża Białystok's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frederico Marques was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Hipólito Montenegro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sylwester Grunwalski hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. If Frederico Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ivo Júdice recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 46 minutes, Frederico Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter Porto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frederico Marques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Inter Porto were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stefan Makowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hipólito Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Makowski in the 52nd minute of play. Miromir Pietrowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivo Júdice in the 55th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Róża Białystok's zone, Frederico Marques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miromir Pietrowski came out of the goal and Frederico Marques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivo Júdice fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miromir Pietrowski having to interfere. The supporters of Inter Porto booed when Róża Białystok was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tolek Czempa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Ivo Júdice put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Miromir Pietrowski. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Frederico Marques got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 74th minute, Baltasar Rebocho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 76 played minutes Inter Porto got a freekick which was hit by Gentil Vilela. Inter Porto's Hipólito Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Makowski in the 77th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Róża Białystok's zone, Ivo Júdice stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miromir Pietrowski came out of the goal and Ivo Júdice tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dariusz Pionek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sylwester Grunwalski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Hipólito Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hipólito Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Makowski in the 92nd minute of play. The Inter Porto players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
