Eberhard Baur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If 齐扬扬 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the game, Los Matadores's 齐扬扬 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eberhard Baur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Derwin in the 14th minute of play forced VfL Tegel's goalkeeper Eberhard Baur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edwin Weißbach during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to VfL Tegel getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Edwin Weißbach hit a great ball. In the 15th minute 齐扬扬 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eberhard Baur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-2 when 齐扬扬 sped through VfL Tegel's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eberhard Baur. A collision led to Los Matadores getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Alfredo Derwin hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the game, Los Matadores's Óli Hansen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eberhard Baur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 29th minute, Filiberto Gai ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eberhard Baur was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After a rather tough play, Los Matadores's Adrian Odilon got a free kick in the 35th minute. Eloy Bittor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hartmut Störmer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Óli Hansen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 38 minutes, 齐扬扬 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Matadores's supporters crossed their fingers, but 齐扬扬 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the VfL Tegel defense, Óli Hansen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eberhard Baur. The VfL Tegel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eberhard Baur should have stopped the shot. 齐扬扬 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eberhard Baur having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 齐扬扬 was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Óli Hansen made a precise shot to the right of Eberhard Baur. VfL Tegel's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. In the 56th minute, Carl Meier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jan Wohlfart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Óli Hansen got free with Eberhard Baur in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Los Matadores getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. 齐扬扬 hit a great ball. After some careless play in the VfL Tegel defense, 齐扬扬 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eberhard Baur. The VfL Tegel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eberhard Baur should have stopped the shot. In the 69th minute, Filiberto Gai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erich Pronold charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erich Pronold the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 71 played minutes VfL Tegel got a freekick which was hit by Erich Pronold. 齐扬扬 received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eberhard Baur came out and tried to block the shot, but 齐扬扬 slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 73rd minute. A collision led to VfL Tegel getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Frank Groll hit a great ball. Óli Hansen scored 0-10 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eberhard Baur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Filiberto Perfecto hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Eberhard Baur made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Óli Hansen sent off a good shot on target. Hartmut Störmer struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Eloy Bittor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VfL Tegel. When Nemesio Fix fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Matadores's protests and gave Nemesio Fix a yellow card for diving instead.
