With a left leg Quinto Zabalo saved FC PURELATORS from getting behind. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC PURELATORS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aldo Assis was slow to take the kick. During this time Inter Porto's players had a chance to rest. In the game's 11th minute Inter Porto's Aldo Assis took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Quinto Zabalo and thus the score was 0-1. After a rather tough play, Inter Porto's Paulino Figueira got a free kick in the 14th minute. Hipólito Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saturnino Solera, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 16th match minute, Inter Porto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederico Marques to maneuver through the defense. Gentil Vilela hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute of the match, Ivo Júdice got a very nice opportunity to score, but Quinto Zabalo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Higinio Mas fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC PURELATORS's protests and gave Higinio Mas a yellow card for diving instead. Higinio Mas kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match.
