Thanks to some nice moves Ivo Júdice could shoot a difficult shot in the 6th minute, which Boyne McWill however easily saved by the left post. Graciano Guerreiro kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Teris Martyn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hipólito Montenegro having to interfere. Boyne McWill made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Ivo Júdice sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute of the match Ryefield got a corner. Inter Porto's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Farrell Branson ran over to the corner to take the kick. Boyne McWill took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herberto Saldanha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Farrell Branson shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Farrell Branson took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hipólito Montenegro. Hipólito Montenegro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Boyne McWill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nélson Ventura in the 37th minute of play. Hipólito Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Farrell Branson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Heron Benson during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ryefield getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Heron Benson hit a great ball. With a little luck, Ryefield's Boyne McWill got control of the ball when Nélson Ventura tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Farrell Branson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Ryefield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heron Benson to maneuver through the defense. Ryefield were furious when Kevinn McDonald was red carded, 56 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 56 minutes into the game, one of Ryefield:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Ivo Júdice managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inter Porto's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivo Júdice was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boyne McWill breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Boyne McWill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nélson Ventura, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. A collision led to Ryefield getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Fergus Deery hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivo Júdice in the 79th minute of play forced Ryefield's goalkeeper Boyne McWill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Nélson Ventura left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter Porto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nélson Ventura in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Boyne McWill prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Inter Porto's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aldo Assis in the 88th minute. Aldo Assis made a great header on Inter Porto's corner, it was just that Ryefield's Boyne McWill managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 90th match minute, Ryefield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Farrell Branson to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Brion Quinnless hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Although Inter Porto had been in control for most of the match, Ryefield still came away with the win.
