But to his dismay, Igor Matia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After having played for 20 minutes, Alexsandro Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ivo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexsandro Antunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emilio Urko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabiano Reis in the 24th minute of the match. Diguinho de Amaral charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diguinho de Amaral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Ivo FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Correas:s goal. After the first half Correas were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabiano Reis to strike the kick off in the second half. Patricio Filipo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Teodoro Fonseca when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Correas's Emilio Urko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diguinho Donato in the 70th minute of play. Emilio Urko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano Reis in the 72nd minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Patricio Filipo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Teodoro Fonseca, 0-7. Patricio Filipo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Teodoro Fonseca made a huge save. Fabiano Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Emilio Urko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Ivo FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Correas's performance. The match ended with a win for Correas.
