Cristo Verdu was slow to take the kick. During this time Zacisze Częstochowa's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Zacisze Częstochowa's Damaso Alonso getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Jan Budzyn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristo Verdu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. With a little luck, Lyna Lidzbark Warminski's Jan Budzyn got control of the ball when Jurand Cempa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
