Marílio Amado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Blomkvist in the 3rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Luisxemburgo FC's Diamantino Jacinto got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute, Peter Blomkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 6th minute, Peter Blomkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Marílio Amado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peter Blomkvist went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 13th minute, Peter Blomkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marílio Amado was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 16th minute, Peter Blomkvist reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marílio Amado. The goal made the score 4-0. Peter Blomkvist scored 5-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marílio Amado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Luisxemburgo FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antonio Alzamendi was slow to take the kick. During this time Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s players had a chance to rest. After 25 played minutes Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ got a freekick which was hit by Blas Frances. 29 minutes into the match, Peter Blomkvist notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Luisxemburgo FC's Marílio Amado. Marílio Amado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Joel Enekoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Enekoitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marílio Amado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peter Blomkvist struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Marílio Amado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥. Rolando Nascimento lost his temper 43 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Luisxemburgo FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! In the 48th minute, Peter Blomkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 55 minutes, Diamantino Jacinto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Luisxemburgo FC and the Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th match minute, Luisxemburgo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino Jacinto to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Blomkvist in the 57th minute of play forced Luisxemburgo FC's goalkeeper Marílio Amado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marílio Amado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ made a substitution. Pietro Salles replaced Peter Blomkvist. 74 minutes into the match, William Lebigot had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marílio Amado. Luisxemburgo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that William Lebigot was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ made a substitution. Kosmas Banasopoulos replaced Joel Enekoitz. Pietro Salles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marílio Amado having to make a save. A collision led to Luisxemburgo FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Henrique Caetano hit a great ball. Pietro Salles took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marílio Amado. Marílio Amado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 12-0. Marílio Amado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pietro Salles's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Marílio Amado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pietro Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
