An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Bidun in the 20th minute of play forced Nueva Chicago 2026's goalkeeper Salvador Baraquiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Set Fire's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Magno Jaka Jamba in the 29th minute. After taking down the ball on Set Fire's corner Magno Jaka Jamba fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Salvador Baraquiel quite easily take care of the ball. Alberto Bidun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salvador Baraquiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Bidun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raul Zoff made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kerimhan Keykubad in the 44th minute. In the 49th minute Set Fire were awarded a corner. Magno Jaka Jamba went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Set Fire's corner Olof Uter fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Salvador Baraquiel quite easily take care of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Alberto Bidun made the kick off in the second half. Salvador Baraquiel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Bidun in the 53rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kerimhan Keykubad in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raul Zoff saved Set Fire from getting behind. 69 minutes into the match, Set Fire's goal looked a bit too open when Kerimhan Keykubad came free, but Raul Zoff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 71 played minutes Nueva Chicago 2026 got a freekick which was hit by Juan Gorbea. Raul Zoff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Castel in the 74th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Salvador Baraquiel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 78th minute of the match, Pedro Brais tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Salvador Baraquiel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
