Divina Comédia FC's Cristian Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Gallberg in the 10th minute of play. Rodrigo Iraunkor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Peres having to interfere. If Ove Gallberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Divina Comédia FC's Nilton Veiga got a free kick in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogério Ceni in the 20th minute of play forced Leones Futbol Club's goalkeeper Luis Cheche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Divina Comédia FC's Cristian Peres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Divina Comédia FC from getting a goal against them. Luis Cheche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aloísio Chulapa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Leones Futbol Club getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Nicolás Tagliafico hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Leones Futbol Club's Cristian Peres threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ove Gallberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 41 minutes into the game, Bernardino Lano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cristian Peres. Bernardino Lano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Bernardino Lano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Peres having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Divina Comédia FC's zone, Rodrigo Iraunkor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Peres came out of the goal and Rodrigo Iraunkor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Divina Comédia FC's Frederico Varela got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 49th minute of the match Leones Futbol Club got a corner. Divina Comédia FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kasper Hellström ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Rodrigo Iraunkor managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luiz Fabiano Gøl stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Divina Comédia FC booed when Leones Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Dybala didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodrigo Iraunkor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 66 minutes into the game, Leones Futbol Club's Rodrigo Iraunkor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristian Peres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Cristian Peres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ove Gallberg in the 70th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Kasper Hellström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Leones Futbol Club's Ove Gallberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristian Peres narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristian Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Iraunkor in the 78th minute of play. After some careless play in the Divina Comédia FC defense, Bernardino Lano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristian Peres. The Divina Comédia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristian Peres should have stopped the shot. In the 86th minute, Bernardino Lano made a precise shot to the right of Cristian Peres. Divina Comédia FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. 89 minutes into the game, Bernardino Lano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Cristian Peres was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 92nd minute, Ove Gallberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Divina Comédia FC's Aloísio Chulapa got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Divina Comédia FC's Aloísio Chulapa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luis Cheche. That made the score 7-1 after 97 minutes of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Leones Futbol Club had played much better football throughout.
