Spectators: 7509 (Terracing: 5632, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Neymar Ronaldinho kicked off to start the match. In the 4thth minute of the game Sebastião Barbosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AQUILES's Pedro Catalano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 7 minutes, Lothar Matheus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AQUILES and the Romando Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to AQUILES getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Lothar Matheus hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastião Barbosa in the 8th minute of play forced AQUILES's goalkeeper Pedro Catalano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Romando Futebol Clube's Igor Romao got control of the ball when Prospero Eguntsenti tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th match minute, AQUILES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Sustrai to maneuver through the defense. Régis Dante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Prospero Eguntsenti scored 1-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Igor Romao, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christiano Ferraz in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Catalano saved AQUILES from getting behind. In the 39th minute, Sebastião Barbosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Catalano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christiano Ferraz in the 40th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, AQUILES's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião Barbosa came free, but Pedro Catalano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sebastião Barbosa made a kick off. Hélio Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Pedro Catalano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute of the match Frank Marques sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Catalano skillfully saved the ball. Romando Futebol Clube's Igor Romao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rivaldo Pele in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bem Fraco in the 61st minute of play forced AQUILES's goalkeeper Pedro Catalano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Catalano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Régis Dante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the match, AQUILES's goalkeeper Pedro Catalano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastião Barbosa. In the 76th minute, Sebastião Barbosa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pedro Catalano. The goal made the score 1-1. Pedro Catalano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Régis Dante in the 79th minute of play. The corner led Romando Futebol Clube's Frank Marques to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedro Catalano despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 83rdth minute of the game Régis Dante who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AQUILES's Pedro Catalano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 84th minute, AQUILES's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Régis Dante fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Régis Dante took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Catalano. Pedro Catalano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Igor Romao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neymar Ronaldinho in the 90th minute of the match. Romando Futebol Clube played a much better game than AQUILES and deserved their victory. The AQUILES players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
