Zeca Berger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 32 minutes, José Augusto Fontes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Belotaurus FC and the Oldham Athletic players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, Belotaurus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Augusto Fontes to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Belotaurus FC defense, Adrian Pettersson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustavo Brasil. The Belotaurus FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustavo Brasil should have stopped the shot. Zeca Berger struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Belotaurus FC's Gustavo Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arman Gregersson in the 66th minute of play. A very nice done corner allowed Jefferson Chaves to score against Mattias Pihlgren in Oldham Athletic's goal. 6-1 after 80 minutes. 85 minutes into the match, Belotaurus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arman Gregersson came free, but Gustavo Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mattias Pihlgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Augusto Fontes in the 91st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zeca Berger in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Oldham Athletic's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
