In the 11th minute, Alexandros Gavril left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Unione Sportiva fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. But to his dismay, Epigonoi Theohari quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Seleykos Sklavenitis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Henri Martins showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 39 minute of play. Canarinho Atordoado's Pedro Luís Menegatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandros Gavril in the 44th minute of play. Pedro Luís Menegatti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epigonoi Theohari in the 46th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Canarinho Atordoado's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandros Gavril came free, but Pedro Luís Menegatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The crowd rose to their feet as Unione Sportiva's Alexandros Gavril slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Luís Menegatti. That made the score 1-3 after 57 minutes of play. Seleykos Sklavenitis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. In the 73rd minute Alexandros Gavril shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luís Menegatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Henri Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canarinho Atordoado's supporters rose to their feet, but Henri Martins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Seleykos Sklavenitis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Canarinho Atordoado's Pedro Luís Menegatti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Canarinho Atordoado from getting a goal against them. Seleykos Sklavenitis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henri Martins in the 83rd minute of play. Canarinho Atordoado's Pedro Luís Menegatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonis Samios in the 96th minute of play. The Unione Sportiva supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Unione Sportiva would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
