Seleykos Sklavenitis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Joey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benedicto Maule made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hector Volakis in the 31st minute. 35 minutes into the game, Lyons's Froilan Joey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Seleykos Sklavenitis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexandros Gavril stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 94thth minute of the game Alexandros Gavril who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lyons's Benedicto Maule was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Lyons players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Unione Sportiva from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
