In the 17th match minute, Loures was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermes Amaro to maneuver through the defense. Emílio Fontes hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Nicolas Vilalobos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Song Yao Jie, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Kolos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

FC Kolos's supporters rose to their feet, but Symon Glushko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolas Vilalobos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Norberto Barbosa hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Symon Glushko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Vilalobos having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, FC Kolos's Song Yao Jie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicolas Vilalobos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Norberto Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Song Yao Jie took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicolas Vilalobos. Nicolas Vilalobos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Nicolas Vilalobos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Song Yao Jie in the 89th minute. With a little luck, Loures's Nicolas Vilalobos got control of the ball when Song Yao Jie tried to sneak it across the goal line. Francisco Lobo hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. FC Kolos's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
