Osvald Österlund scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Deivid Rosa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin Leite in the 9th minute of play forced Surahammar's goalkeeper Ivar Östman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvald Österlund in the 12th minute of play forced Cactos's goalkeeper Deivid Rosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amílton Paulista kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Nils-Emil Falck struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Deivid Rosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Surahammar. 17 minutes into the match, Surahammar's goalkeeper Ivar Östman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Franklin Leite. After 18 minutes of play, Cactos's Armando Gerber made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivar Östman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ivar Östman came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cactos's Kléberson Messias. But to his dismay, Kléberson Messias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 29 minutes into the match, Surahammar's goalkeeper Ivar Östman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Gerber. In the 32nd minute, Markus Bergsten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the game, Franklin Leite cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Ivar Östman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Franklin Leite got free with Ivar Östman in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Armando Gerber could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Ivar Östman made a huge save. 41 minutes into the match, Franklin Leite dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ivar Östman, 4-1. After a defensive mix-up in Surahammar's zone, Gugu Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivar Östman came out of the goal and Gugu Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Stig Aronsson made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Armando Gerber left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cactos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Ivar Östman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franklin Leite in the 56th minute of the match. Surahammar's Ivar Östman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gugu Montenegro in the 57th minute of play. When Claes Gunnarsson fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Surahammar's protests and gave Claes Gunnarsson a yellow card for diving instead. Franklin Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivar Östman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Gerber in the 62nd minute of play. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Surahammar's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Amílton Paulista was slow to take the kick. During this time Cactos's players had a chance to rest. Ivar Östman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franklin Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Osvald Österlund hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 71st match minute, Cactos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kléberson Messias to maneuver through the defense. Amílton Paulista hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Ivar Östman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Gerber, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Surahammar's zone, Gugu Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivar Östman came out of the goal and Gugu Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th match minute, Cactos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamílton Trigo to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, Surahammar's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Gerber came free, but Ivar Östman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cactos had won after a very even match.
