The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 15 minutes into the match, Åke Månsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivar Östman. Surahammar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Åke Månsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Bertil Skarkman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig Aronsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunnar Vassenius in the 24th minute of play forced Surahammar's goalkeeper Ivar Östman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Johan Nyberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivar Östman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertil Henriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bertil Henriksson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivar Östman having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Åke Månsson put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Ivar Östman. Gunnar Vassenius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Östman having to interfere. Gösta Jakobsson kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Tage Söderberg struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Ivar Östman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Digital Monsterz FC. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stig Aronsson made a kick off. Nils-Emil Falck's late challenge caught a Digital Monsterz FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nils-Emil Falck helped the player get up and apologised. In the 51st match minute, Surahammar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Emil Falck to maneuver through the defense. Åke Månsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Ivar Östman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Åke Månsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivar Östman. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gunnar Vassenius got free with Ivar Östman in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Tage Söderberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Digital Monsterz FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tage Söderberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivar Östman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jens-Erik Giöck in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivar Östman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77th match minute, Surahammar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markus Bergsten to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Tage Söderberg in the 78th minute really tested Ivar Östman's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 79th minute, Jens-Erik Giöck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Digital Monsterz FC booed when Surahammar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig-Ove Kjellbom didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivar Östman made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Åke Månsson sent off a good shot on target. Ivar Östman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Erik Giöck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Digital Monsterz FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Surahammar.
