Maurinho Prestes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Cláudio Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute Frédson Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nildo Saldanha hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Cláudio Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur do Nascimento in the 15th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Angelo Freitas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ValenBehr F.C. - FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Papunhas EC the free kick. Angelo Freitas hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute Maurinho Prestes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frédson Rosa during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Papunhas EC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Frédson Rosa hit a great ball. Ruy Oliveira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Víktor Albuquerque in the 26th minute. Ruy Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Víktor Albuquerque, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Angelo Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Cláudio Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur do Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nildo Saldanha to make the kick off. After 50 minutes of play ValenBehr F.C. - FSCMZ's Nildo Saldanha was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Nildo Saldanha hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute ValenBehr F.C. - FSCMZ were awarded a corner. Víktor Albuquerque went to the cornerflag to take it. ValenBehr F.C. - FSCMZ's Cláudio Penha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save ValenBehr F.C. - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. Ruy Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Víktor Albuquerque in the 60th minute of play. Víktor Albuquerque scored 1-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ruy Oliveira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Víktor Albuquerque charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Víktor Albuquerque the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Papunhas EC booed when ValenBehr F.C. - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Víktor Albuquerque didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, ValenBehr F.C. - FSCMZ's Emerson Mangueira got a free kick in the 71st minute. Cláudio Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cláudio Penha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guilherme Moraes in the 77th minute. In the 81st minute Víktor Albuquerque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruy Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruy Oliveira came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by ValenBehr F.C. - FSCMZ's Víktor Albuquerque. But to his dismay, Víktor Albuquerque quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. A collision led to Papunhas EC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Maurinho Prestes hit a great ball. ValenBehr F.C. - FSCMZ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Papunhas EC for a fine match.
