After 18 played minutes, Nightmare's Tang Han shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ruy Oliveira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nightmare reached it. In the 20thth minute of the game Ademir de Sena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Papunhas EC's Ruy Oliveira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Nightmare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Benitez to maneuver through the defense. If Aaron Chevalier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ruy Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ademir de Sena in the 27th minute of the match. Ademir de Sena scored 0-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ruy Oliveira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 30 minutes, Ademir de Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nightmare's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ademir de Sena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ruy Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Benitez, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Ademir de Sena took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruy Oliveira. Ruy Oliveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Marco Benitez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guy Grimault kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Papunhas EC's Richard Madureira got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The wind increased when Maurinho Prestes made the kick off in the second half. Ruy Oliveira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ronaldo 吴鹏 showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 53 minute of play. Ruy Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Benitez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruy Oliveira was a little too slow when Aaron Chevalier got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-5. Ruy Oliveira made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Marco Benitez sent off a good shot on target. Ruy Oliveira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ademir de Sena showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 69 minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Papunhas EC's goalkeeper Ruy Oliveira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Benitez. Zbyszko Piglowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Frédson Rosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edmund Lenertej. Nightmare's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frédson Rosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-8. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Papunhas EC's goalkeeper Ruy Oliveira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Taka Jachvadze was extremely unlucky when he, in the 94th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Nightmare's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
